Before you activate n8n checkout workflows

Set STORE_BASE_URL to the canonical store (copy from live /health public_base_url).
Confirm SKUs via GET /api/products — never invent prices or payTo.
Create orders with POST /api/orders body {"sku":"…"} (not form-urlencoded).
Payment check is POST /api/orders/{id}/check — unpaid returns pending; do not spend to smoke-test.
Wire Slack/Notion credentials in n8n only — pack files ship placeholders, never secrets.
Poll unlock → then use HMAC download_url (TTL ~15 min); never share tokens.
Optional: pending recovery nudge + daily digest after create/poll loops are green.

Symptom	Fix before next activate
Create order 400/500	Valid `sku` from `/api/products`; JSON content-type; store up.
Check always pending	Exact USDC amount + Solana Pay `reference` in the wallet transfer; unpaid is expected for $0 smoke.
Using GET for check	Switch to POST `…/check` — GET is status-only.
Slack/Notion silent	Replace credential placeholders; test notify nodes with a pending order only.
Download 403	Re-run check after pay; HMAC TTL expired or forged token.
Wrong payTo in messages	Copy OPS from live `/health` / env — never invent.

Spend-cap: $0 smoke uses unpaid pending only. Companion does not guarantee sales volume.
